I have a few ground rules and I'll know if you didn't read them, that automatically means I won't add you.

1. Not to be mean or anything but it's simple, follow the instructions so I'll know you're actually serious about being my friend and not just wanting to increase the size of your friends list.

2. COMMENT and say hi (the amount of people who don't is just baffling!); please don't just add me randomly. I often ban people who do.

3. If you're a fan of de-friending, or cleaning out you friends list, be warned before we even become friends, if you do it to me I need a very good reason why.

4. Without meaning offense, if I can't read your journal at all (as in, none of it is in a language I can understand) I'm sorry, I won't add you because it's a little creepy.

5. Tell me where you found me and why we'd make good eljay buddies, I don't need an essay, a few words will do :)

It's waayyy too commercialized (but that's not really an argument is it, the real question is what isn't these days?!)

I mean if you love someone it should be expressed EVERY DAY. I get mother's day or father's day because sometimes our parents need at least one day to themselves. But Valentines day? like that old guy in the sh*t my dad says twitter account, I don't think St Valentine would want us to screw in his memory (this one t-shirt that said "don't forget to f**k on Valentine's" was hilarious though LOL).

But maybe this is just me being bitter as I've never had a significant other (Drew Barrymore in never been kissed can suck it compared to me) XD However I will say that roses are over rated, well, flowers in general as presents really because what message does it convey?

"Here babe, like this flower our love is in full bloom today but if you don't put it into a vase of water and take care of it it will die in 3 days or so. Maybe before then. Yes, yes you are high maintenance"

Well having never experienced romantic love I can only guess at it and I think this quote (one of my all time favorites) sums up my 'impression' of how it is;
