Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (though not technically shelved as a romance, it totally is)

2. A Scotsman in Love by Karen Ranney (I cried though most of it, enough said)

3. A Witch's Beauty by Joey W Hill (unconventional and oh so wonderful)

4. The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt (an erotic Jane Eyre )

5. Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (adorable animals plus hot romance)

6. Son of the Morning by Linda Howard (compulsively readable and sexy)

7. Start Me Up by Victoria Dahl (friends to more than friends story of a short girl and a hot nerd, what's not to like?)

8. The Devil You Know by Liz Carlyle (Bentley is one of the best tortured rakes ever)

9. Blue-Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas ( I had to choose ONE of her works though I love them all!)

10. Mind Game by Christine Feehan (rare Asian hero and heroine in a well written and steamy romance)

11. Thunder and Roses by Mary Jo Putney (just plain wonderful)

12. The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn (a rake falls for the 'wrong' sister for all the right reasons)

13. Never Seduce a Scoundrel by Sabrina Jeffries( laugh out loud funny and very sexy!)

14. The Perfect Rake by Anne Gracie (funniest dialogue between hero and heroine I've ever come across)

15. Passion by Lisa Valdez (combines emotional depth with sizzling pages)

16. Lover Revealed by JR Ward (when the human became my favorite Brother)
